Memorial Day event commemorating the service and sacrifice of those Veterans interred and memorialized at Culpeper National Cemetery. WHO: Hosted by VFW Post Commander George Brosbt; Keynote speaker will be Jeffrey Joyce, Major, US Air Force (Retired). Special Guest Martin Martinez, from VA’s Office of the Secretary, Music by the Culpeper County High School Band. VFW Post 2525 to provide military honors.

SPECIAL CALLED MEETING AGENDA: 1.0 MEETING OPENING 1.01 CALL TO ORDER 2.0 AGENDA 2.01 APPROVAL OF AGENDA 3.0 NEW BUSINESS a. The Board will discuss and consider authorizing a public hearing to grant the Town of Culpeper a permanent sidewalk easement on Tax Map No. 50-21D1 as part of the Encompass Building renovations project. 4.0 OLD BUSINESS a. The Board will discuss and consider the Fiberlync Easement and License Agreements, (start time 6:45 PM). 5.0 PUBLIC HEARING 7:00pm - The Board will hold a public hearing to discuss and consider an ordinance amendment to the Culpeper County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 12 (Taxation), Article II -Assessment of Real Estate Devoted to Agricultural, Horticultural, and Forest Uses, that would (i) repeal Sec. 12-18(b), (ii) provide for the removal of certain real estate from use-value assessment and taxation, and (iii) renumber existing Sec. 12-18(c) as Sec. 12-18(b). 6.0 SPECIAL PRESENTATION a. The Board will hear a presentation from Dominion Energy regarding Valley Link Joshua Falls-Yeat Substation, (start time 7:15 PM).
