Meeting contains the public hearing of the new County budget as well as the proposed tax increase

BUDGET PRESENTATION- The Clerk to the Board will give an overview of the proposed FY27 Budget and the Board will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding the proposed budget. The Board will receive public comments regarding the proposed real estate and personal property tax rates for calendar year 2027.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of our country’s founding, we look at the role African Americans played in the fight for independence. The focus will be on men from Culpeper, with emphasis on free man William Clark and enslaved man Spencer Slaughter.
